Do you want to know what the future might be?
Register now for the IPF webinar with Sue Sharpe OBE, Chief Executive of the PSNC.
Sue will take part in an IPF webinar on Wednesday 19th March to throw some light onto the current debates affecting pharmacy.
Contractors are still waiting for news on the contract development whilst defending themselves from the daily battle with drugs shortages and stock prices. With some in the profession arguing for fewer pharmacies, is it any wonder that contractors are worried about the future?
Sue will discuss what is happening now and what the future might look like. With the threat of 3000 pharmacies to close what impact does government policy and controls have on community pharmacy and patients and what are the most significant policy issues? While the 100 hour exemption has been removed does the distance selling exemption and EPS really help patients or is it promoting sharp practice? How can the average contractor balance the national contract with local opportunities? With the potential for new opportunities being developed for community pharmacy and a greater role in delivering better health care for patients, what should a contractor be doing in practice to support these initiatives?
You can access the webinar on line or through the telephone. Or why not get a few of your team or colleagues together to watch the webinar and discuss the contents? We can help by providing you with a script to facilitate your discussions.
The IPF webinar is a free service for all interested and involved in community pharmacy. We are supported by Johnson and Johnson to deliver this programme of webinars.
