![]() A mop up session for the GP 2 Pharmacy Clinical Examination skills training has been planned for Wednesday 5th February 6.00pm at the Clarion, Boldon. This evening session is for pharmacists and locums who are new to the service. It will train pharmacists to perform clinical examinations of the ear and throat as well as cover all of the PGDs on the service to date. As this big increase will directly affect contractors the LPC urges you to take part in the consultation by clicking the link here ![]() NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE&I) has issued a letter to provide advice on ordering appropriate flu vaccines for the 2020/21 season. This follows a review of the latest evidence on influenza vaccines conducted by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation. Community pharmacy contractors are advised to begin ordering licensed vaccines as set out in the letter; ordering of these licensed vaccines should not be unnecessarily delayed. Read the letter in full at: ow.ly/9JV630q6gbw ![]() As we start the new year we would like to remind pharmacies that ther is now one month to go before the window opens for community pharmacy contractors to make a declaration for a Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS) payment. Contractors must use the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) Manage Your Service portal to make their PQS declaration between 9am on 3rd February 2020 and 11.59pm on 28th February 2020. Many pharmacy teams are well on their way to meeting the gateway criteria and some if not all the domains for the PQS. Contractors are, however, reminded of the following resources:
