Pharmacists who have been clinically trained are now able to offer these new PGDs along with the original two. In order to provide assurances to the CCG we have developed an assurance system using Pharmoutcomes. You will now see a new module appear next to the regular GP2Pharmacy module called PGD Document Store. You will need to access this module and confirm a few declarations. Once a Pharmacy representative has filled in these declarations and submitted you will be given access to the PGDs.
The data used from this module will be used to inform practices that you are up and ready to deal with the new conditions. Your pharmacy name will then be added to the reference list for referrals from GPs to your pharmacy.
The LPC would like to thank all GP2Pharmacy service providers for their patience whilst these PGDs were signed off - we recognise that for some pharmacists the training was a little while ago, but everything is ready now. Please fill in the module as soon as possible.
