South Tyneside Foundation Trust have arranged EHC training sessions on 22nd November and 6th December for Pharmacists in Gateshead & South Tyneside. Full details including contacts for booking can be found within the flyer below. This training will cover you for face to face training requirements in Gateshead and South Tyneside. Booking early will avoid disappointment as EHC sessions tend to get booked up very quickly. Along with the EHC training South Tyneside foundation trust will be distributing posters and screening packs for Chlamdiya and Gonnoeae in December to all pharmacies for you to use along side the EHC service. The packs are for distribution to patients and contain full instructions for the patient to use and how to post back to the lab. Pharmacies just need to distribute them if appropriate during your EHC consultations. A copy of the poster is below.

 Gateshead & South Tyneside LPC is pleased to announce that we have again negotiated a "flu vaccination" service with South Tyneside Council. The service is funded by the council and is to allow its staff to be privately vaccinated in the pharmacy. The service is open to all pharmacies in South Tyneside and Gateshead and full details can be obtained by clicking here.
Please make sure you are fully aware of the service details so that you can help council staff when they are directed to the pharmacy. Although Pharmacies in South Tyneside will receive the majority of requests. We are opening the service up to Gateshead contractors to allow South Tyneside Council Staff to attend pharmacies across a wider area. |
