Urgent Call to HealthCheck Delivering Pharmacies

The LPC has been working with South Tyneside Council to arrange health check sessions for police officers.

The LPC Clinics will be held at South Shields police station on :

Tues 11 Nov 12-5pm
Tues 18 Nov 12-5pm
Tues 25 Nov 12-5pm
Tues 2 Dec 12-5pm

Eligible Police Officers will be pre-booked into these clinics so numbers should be guaranteed.

The Pharmacy will be eligible to claim the Health Check fees on the health checks they perform on the day.

Any pharmacies wishing to participate in this work please contact Louise Lydon with the details of who will be delivering the Heath Check and which dates you are available.

All equipment / PC / printer will be available on site and set up ready in the dedicated clinical room.

Exciting opportunities have arisen within North Durham and Durham Dales Easington and Sedgefield Clinical Commissioning Groups for committed, enthusiastic and proactive pharmacists to join our Medicines Optimisation Team. You will have a strong understanding of primary care and a good clinical background along with excellent report writing and communication skills. You will undertake the role of professional secretary for primary care medicines optimisation committees and work closely with a wide variety of colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the implementation and local delivery of the medicines optimisation agenda in both CCGs. You will also give professional leadership to the practice based prescribing support team.

This position is hosted by Durham Dales Easington and Sedgefield CCG, on behalf of both North Durham and Durham Dales Easington and Sedgefield CCGs, and based at Sedgefield Community Hospital, although there will be a frequent requirement to travel across both CCGs so access to your own transport during working hours is essential.
