New LPC Committee Elected - Take Office from 1st April 2014

Gateshead and South Tyneside LPC – Membership with effect from 1 April 2014

The term of office of the current members of the Gateshead and South Tyneside Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC) expired   on 31st March 2014, a new committee has been elected with effect from 1 April 2014 for a term of 4 years.

Greg Burke, Returning Officer, has sent the following message:

As you may know the LPC comprises 13 members, 7 members representing independent contractors and 6 members representing Company Chemist Association (CCA) members. Following the election process earlier this year with effect from 1 April the membership will be as follows:

Pharmacists representing Independent Contractors

• Tracy Groves
• Mark Burdon
• Aina Osunkunle

 
Pharmacists representing CCA pharmacies:

·         Emma Morris (Boots)
·         Jenny Graham (Boots)
·         Richard Anderson (Co-Operative Pharmacy)
·         Alex Graham (Lloyds)
·         Jonathan Green (Lloyds)
·         Tomal Karim (Asda)

At the LPC meeting on 27th March the officers of the new committee were voted into post, the appointments are as follows:

·         Chair: David Carter
·         Secretary: Louise Lydon
·         Communications Officer & Vice Chair : Sami Hanna
·         Treasurer: Jonathan Green
