Please be aware of this as your manage your stock levels in order that you are not left with wasted stock. ![]() Due to the transition of the Public Health Team from the PCT to Local Authority in April 2013 they no longer have access to the Survey Monkey (it was a contractual arrangement with the PCT which no longer exists). The whole NHS Health Check Programme has now been fully evaluated for both community (pharmacy) providers and GP providers and it has been proven from this evaluation that people value the service that has been provided in GP and community settings. As part of future evaluation methods the NHS Health Check programme will now have periods of evaluation on a random basis, whereby public health will invite pharmacies/GPs to carry out random sampling of (say) x 10 health checks that you would undertake when you would also request the participant to complete a questionnaire on their check. These questionnaire would then be returned to Public Health Team for evaluation methods. The public health team, therefore, no longer require all pharmacies to complete the Survey Monkey, however, they will contact various pharmacies as part of this new random sampling process in the near future. As you may be aware Public Health has now moved to the Local Authority. The new local authority contact details for Public Health are here.
Any claims and enquiries, within Gateshead & South Tyneside, in relation to the provision of ‘Emergency Hormonal Contraception through Community Pharmacy are to be sent to these contacts. ![]() Gateshead & South Tyneside LPC have joined forces with the other North East LPC’s to bring you this innovative event.
