The council have secured funding to pilot a multidisciplinary approach to engage with this highly at risk group. The LPC is looking for 5 pharmacists with a passion to help these individuals to step forward and volunteer.
You will be required to be available for approximately 5 half day (remunerated) sessions working in various church halls / soup kitchens / hostels engaging with people and providing pharmaceutical services and health interventions / advice.
The exact nature of the work is yet to be determined but those interested will be involved in the front-line, working alongside other organisations such as First Contact Clinical and Barnardos.
