Gateshead Pharmacies - Ensure all your EHC documentation is up to date. - Deadline 15th March 20153/3/2015 ![]() In order for you to provide free EHC via the public health commissioned service a number of actions need to be completed by the pharmacy and each pharmacist involved. Gateshead public health are still waiting for a variety of documents from pharmacies and pharmacists. Below is a summary of what is required. In Summary to continue offering the EHC service Pharmacies need to have a contract signed by their owner / director Individual pharmacists needs to complete the following (in the lat 3 years)
**** Important Please Note **** If you attended the EHC training last year you will have been registered to your pharmacy and if you do not complete the above requirement it could result in the pharmacy not meeting its contractual obligations and having the EHC contract withdrawn. If you have supplied all your documentation however have not attended an update training because of lack of training dates please let public health know. Pharmacy owners / managers should check with public health to ensure that the pharmacists who are registered at their pharmacy are still in a position to offer the service.
