![]() If we compare ourselves to other health professionals such as: Doctors, Dentists, Opticians...then we find that Pharmacists are not particularly good at "recording" what we do - and the advice we give. It's because of the way that pharmacists work...no appointments, multi tasking, counter prescribing etc. The world is changing though, and we're beginning to recognise that better clinical records help us to provide a better service to patients. We're recording NMS, MUR consultations and others - which is encouraging...and some computer systems let us record OTC sales straight into the PMR system easily... It's certainly "good practice" to write-up the advice you give wherever possible...
