Brief Alcohol Interventions Service Training for South Tyneside Pharmacies - 21st March 2017

Pharmacies in South Tyneside are being paid for Brief Alcohol Interventions as part of the Public Health Service Contract.  This funding is wrapped up with Smoking cessation and NHS Health Checks.   South Tyneside Pubic Health have arranged for Fist Contact Clinical to provide a training session to train pharmacists and their staff on Brief Alcohol Interventions as well as how the service works in South Tyneside.    The training includes new elements to the service so is open to pharmacies who are already providing the service as well those new to the service. 

The training session is open to pharmacist and staff and will be held at the Quality Hotel East Boldon on the 21st March 2017 .
Refreshments will be available from 6pm with the meeting starting at 6.30pm.
