As you will know the NPA has been leading on a pharmacy campaign to oppose the pharmacy funding cuts announced just before Christmas. Gateshead and South Tyneside LPC have been backing the campaign and in order to support contractors and really help the campaign gather momentum the LPC have produced a starter pack which will be hand delivered to each pharmacy by one of our LPC committee members.
It is really important that all contractors, pharmacists and their staff get behind the campaign in order for it to have an impact.

- A letter from Dave Carter, Our Chairman
- A copy of the Paper Petition which is going to go to the Downing Street to petition the Prime Minister and Health Secretary to reconsider their proposals. This can be photo copied or printed by downloading the electronic version. Completed sheets need faxing to the NPA. Details are on the back of the petition.
- A pack of MP Cards. These are to be used to encourage members of the public to write to their MP.s. Once the card is filled in you can find our who the local MP from our resource page and send them in bunches to the MP. The card asks the MP to write to the person filling it in with his thoughts.
- A section of posters to use to highlight the petition and the MP cards.
