Ventilation / Infection Control Funds 
South Tyneside NHS Team


Following our announcement regarding the access to Primary Care funding for Pharmacies in South Tyneside (Ventilation & Infection Control) the LPC is helping to facilitate this funding to reach community pharmacies.  

Pharmacies can apply for up to £3,600 per pharmacy.   The funding is to be used by pharmacies to increase ventilation within the premises and / or to implement Infection control measures.  You can also claim the money to reimburse changes already made during the covid pandemic.

To apply for the funding please fill in the form below.  


The form below will be sent to our treasurer, Emma.  She will instigate a payment to your pharmacy following any checks required.

Please Note
If your pharmacy can not receive the money directly.  E.g (If you are part of a large chain) please still fill the form and indicate so.  Emma will then be in touch with you to discuss alternative arrangements.  It may the that a purchase can be made on your behalf or vouchers purchased.  This will be discussed on a case by case basis.

    By completing and submitting this form you are declaring that the fund being applied for will either be used for or have been used for the following :-

    1. Ventilation system
    2. Air conditioning
    3. Desk fans
    4. Screens and social distancing measures
    5.  Premises modifications

     
    You are also confirming that you will be able to provide verification of these spends on request by either the LPC or the South Tyneside Place based NHS team.  This may be a request of receipts or a visit.
