EHC commissioning in South Tyneside is transitioning to PSNE.
This is being done by way of a contract variation. You will have received this contract variation via Pharmoutcomes and once the transition has occurred the two new PGD's below will become effective.
They are provided here so you can view them during the contract variation process. They will only become effective when the Pharmoutcomes module is switched on for the new service.

Emergency Hormonal Contraception
South Tyneside Public Health Pharmacy Service
South Tyneside Public Health currently offers free EHC to the public via a commissioned service through South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trusts Sexual Health service. Any Pharmacy can put itself forward to offer the service on behalf of South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust (STFT), however must comply with contractual requirements stated below. Each providing pharmacy must have a contract (those signed up to the old contract will have to sign a new contract, which is currently under development and will be provided shortly) with STFT and each Pharmacist supplying the service under the contract must fulfil the requirements below.
Please note that if a pharmacist registers to offer the service but does not complete the requirements below, it could result in the contract being removed from the pharmacy for non-compliance.
2. Complete the following CPPE training packages and submit your certificates to STFT

3. Sign a copy of the PGD Page 11 requires signing and returning to STFT.
4. Obtain a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check
You need to check with your employer's HR department to see if they can facilitate a DBS Check. This must be supplied to STFT.
