The problem of stock shortages refuses to go away. Three years ago the LPC conducted an audit around this problem and we now want to conduct a follow up audit.
The follow up audit will help us to inform the PSNC and the department of health about this continuing problem. The more information we can supply, the more likely that the Department of Health and Parliament the greater the possibility of resolving this situation.
This will can also count as your practice audit for the coming year. The audit itself is very simple to complete but we hope that it will provide sufficient information on the current state of affairs.
The more contractors that take part the bigger picture we can form. Should you have any problems regarding the audit please contact our Audit Lead Lisa Simpson.
If you wish to take part, please run the audit for a 2 week period within the month of November 2012.
To make the completion and collation of data as easy as possible we have decided to trial the use of online data collection. The form below should be completed with your entries.
The LPC will collate the audit results and feedback to individual pharmacists, you will then be able to use the findings of this audit to complete your contractual obligations for your Practice audit.
