Dear fellow contractors and colleagues,

Having worked many Christmas / New Years myself, I fully understand and appreciate the hard work going on at the dispensing bench, and increasingly in the consultation room. I know its relentless at this time; and I’d like to say thank you - and pay tribute to all that hard work.

In particular I’d like to thank all of you that are helping us raise the profile of the pharmacy remuneration crisis everywhere. We believe the message has landed well and we believe a brighter future is in the pipeline for pharmacy contractors.

The past year once again has been exceptionally challenging in so many ways and as our thoughts turn to Christmas and the New Year ahead, the LPC would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy Christmas;

We hope that you will get a break from the stress of the pharmacy over the festivities and that you return suitably re-energized for the challenges, and hopefully, opportunities ahead in 2025!
